The Evil Queen was introduced in the first book "The Wishing Spell" and dies in the same book. She is formerly known as 'The Evil Queen' but her real name is Evly. In the book she is described as 'A beautiful maiden with pale skin and long, dark hair. She is Snow Whites Step Mother and tried to kill her four times.
Evly was raised by villagers in a town in the Northern Kingdom. Her mother was on the run for unknown reasons and died while giving birth to her. She fell in love with a young-poet named Mira and were engaged. On the eve of her wedding, the evil Enchantress came for her and took Evly as a slave. Mira found Evly and exchanged letters with her while she was imprisoned. After, the Enchantress trapped Mira. Evly learned magic to try and free Mira from the Magic Mirror, she escaped the caslte and freed all the slaves imprisoned by the Enchantress. Then, she went to a witch named Hagatha so she could help her with the Magic Mirror, but failed to help her. In order for her to save her heart break she cut out her heart and turned it into stone. She would only feel heartbreak, paind and emotion if she touched it.
